Master Brandon Jordan is one of the best kept secrets of the South East Asian Martial Arts. He is an instructor and practitioner with over 2 decades worth of training and a lifetime of skill and knowledge. Alongside his path as a martial artist, he is skilled with sports injury management, having earned a degree in Tui Na Massage with emphasis on musculoskeletal rehabilitation and education.
He began his journey in martial arts 25 years ago within his family, practicing Judo, Wrestling, and Karate. During his formative years, he competed in various local and national tournaments, placing in both fighting and forms competition, and later judging for the tournaments. He trained in many recognized methods of Eskrima/Kali/Arnis and Pencak Silat, gaining Master level teacher rankings in several before branching out to develop and promote his own method, which has been officially recognized and sanctioned.
The last several years have afforded him the opportunity to travel and cross-reference his knowledge and experiences with that of many other instructors and spiritual mentors, and develop a new learning curve for his students. His approach and promotion of Akinyemi Fighting Arts reflects a new way of teaching the martial arts and sciences.
